For Your Consideration (FYC) is a phrase used in entertainment industry awards campaigns to signal that a studio, network, or production company is formally promoting a film, show, or performance for awards consideration. FYC campaigns are aimed at the voting members of awards bodies such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, SAG-AFTRA, the Television Academy, and others. These campaigns include screenings, advertisements in trade publications, online promotional materials, and direct outreach to voters.
