What does Agent mean?

Agent refers to a professional who represents talent in the entertainment industry, such as actors, models, writers, or musicians. The agent’s role is to secure work for their clients, negotiate contracts, and handle the business side of their careers, allowing performers to focus on their craft. Agents typically work for talent agencies, and they earn a commission based on the jobs they secure for their clients.

Example: A musician’s agent works with record labels and concert promoters to book performances and recording deals for the artist.
