What does One-Liner mean?

One-Liner refers to a short, witty remark or line of dialogue that delivers a punchy or humorous message in film, television, or theater. One-liners are often used to provide comic relief or to quickly communicate important information about a character or situation. In production terms, a one-liner can also refer to a brief summary of a project’s premise, used for pitching or marketing. Related terms include Punchline, which is the conclusion of a joke, and Logline, a concise summary of a film’s plot.
