What does Talent mean?

Talent refers to the actors, performers, and creative individuals hired for a film, TV show, commercial, or theatrical production. In industry terms, “talent” is a catch-all phrase for the people who appear on screen or stage, and it often includes voice actors, dancers, musicians, and other performers. Talent agencies represent actors and help them secure roles in various projects. The term is also used more broadly to refer to the skills or abilities of performers. Related terms include Casting, which refers to the process of selecting talent for a role.

Example:The casting director is responsible for finding the right talent to fill the lead roles in the upcoming feature film.
Example: The talent agency submits their client’s resume and reel to the producers of a new TV series, hoping to secure a part for their actor.
