Assistant Director (AD) is a key crew member on a film set who is responsible for assisting the director in managing the production schedule, overseeing the cast and crew, and ensuring that filming runs smoothly and on time. The A.D. typically handles administrative duties and logistics, allowing the director to focus on the creative aspects of the production.
