What does Dark Comedy mean?

Dark Comedy is a genre of film or television that finds humor in topics that are generally considered serious, taboo, or grim, such as death, illness, war, or tragedy. Black comedies often challenge societal norms by presenting these subjects in an irreverent or satirical way, making audiences laugh while questioning the subject matter.
