What does Offer mean?

Offer refers to a formal proposal made by a producer, director, or casting agent to an actor, director, or other entertainment professional for a specific role or project. Offers typically include details such as salary, project timelines, creative control, and contractual obligations. An offer is usually extended after an audition or meeting and is often the first step toward finalizing a contract or agreement. Offers can be either exclusive or non-exclusive, depending on the terms agreed upon by both parties.

Example:An actor receives an offer for the lead role in a major film, including details about the salary, shooting schedule, and contractual terms.
Example: A director is extended an offer to helm a new television series, with the offer outlining creative control and the production budget.
